I grew up in the Pacific Northwest in Oregon during the ‘60s and ‘70s. I remember the
Patterson-Gimlin film when I was 11. I hunted and fished the coast range of Oregon and
never had a bigfoot sighting. Then, many years later, living in Washington State, I had
my first bigfoot encounter in the Wynoochee Valley in October 2005. It was very
upsetting at the time, but I wanted to learn everything I could.
I went on a BFRO expedition in 2006 and was hooked. I became an investigator that fall. I have completed just over 200 investigations. I also have been on so many BFRO expeditions that I have
lost count. Most recent was this past August, where I was fortunate enough to see my
seventh bigfoot. In all those investigations and experiences, I have learned a great deal.
Yet, there is so much more to learn. I look forward to sharing what I know with all of you.
