Thom is a 5th generation native of the west being a descendant of great-great grandparents who traveled the 1930 miles of the Oregon Trail in 1851 at ages 16 and 7 for Steven and Mary respectively.
Thom has been studying the sasquatch since his interest was piqued by the Jerry Crew incident in 1958. Along the way, he acquired a BS degree in Forest Engineering from the University of Washington and in the ensuing years of living his life in the wild places, has developed a close relationship with the creatures of the forests, including and especially the sasquatch people.
To date, Thom has published 13 books on these fascinating people all leading up to this, his final book on the subject, “Sasquatch – The Proof” which provides the evidence in quantity to convince even the most ardent skeptic, providing he is willing to listen with an open mind, of the existence of these grand beings. In addition, Thom speaks extensively on the subject, though advancing age has diminished the range he is willing to travel to do so!
